FANDOM CONTEST
REGULATIONS

On the occasion of the publication of the Italian translation of the third episode of the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, Fazi Editore has decided to organize the first international contest for Web artists who created artworks inspired to Stephenie Meyer's novels.

The contest is divided in two sections:

è fan art - for artwork based on characters, places and atmospherics of Twilight saga. The artworks must be traditional or digital art (drawings and paintings - no pictures) sent in jpg format with a minimum resolution of 150 dpi.

è fan film - (includes trailers and slideshows) - for videos freely inspired to Twilight Saga. The videos can last up to 8 minutes and cannot be bigger than 500 MB.

Fan art must be sent, in the indicated formats, by email to the following address meyercontestfazi@fazieditore.it

Fan films must be uploaded on the website www.megaupload.com/it  following these instructions.

If you cannot upload the videos, you can send them on a dvd by mail with object "Twilight Saga Fandom Contest", to the following address: Fazi Editore, via Isonzo, 42/c, 00198, Roma - Italy.

Only the artworks received (by email and MegaUpload or mail) by midnight, the 14th december, will be admitted.

To compete, every artwork must be accompanied by personal data of the author: name, surname, birthdate, address, e-mail address and telephone number.
Fazi Editore will choose a finalist at its own unchallengeable judgement, who will be awarded on the occasion of the big event dedicated from the publisher to the fans of Twilight Saga, which will take place on Saturday 22th of December at Teatro Palladium, piazza Bartolomeo Romano 8 in Rome, starting at 3 PM, free entrance and prize-giving at 4 pm.

In the theatre a selection of the best artworks, choosen at the publisher's unchallengeable judgement will be displayed and projected on special supports, and merchandising inspired to Bella and Edward's Saga will be on sale.

The music band Melody Fall will exhibit in an exclusive live concert.

During the night a special prize will be assigned to the best Cosplayer: among all the boys and girls participating with outfits and accessories inspired to one of the characters of Twilight Saga, the most original and relevant will be awarded.

For all fan arts and fan films coming from abroad, belonging to artists who cannot be in Rome for the prize-giving on 22th december, we will dedicate a special section of our website and the best works will be displayed anyway in the showroom at Teatro Palladium.
